Global energy emissions up 2% in 2018 in “vicious cycle” of erratic weather patterns -report

Energy-related CO2 output rose 2% worldwide last year, the fastest rate since 2011, as extreme weather stoked demand for heating and cooling, according to a report published Wednesday.
