Far-right EU climate rapporteur urges Parliament to reject 2040 target proposal

The European Parliament’s rapporteur on the EU’s proposed 2040 climate target, the Czech MEP Ondrej Knotek of the Patriots for Europe (PfE) group, is seeking to rally parliamentary support to reject the European Commission’s plan for a new binding emissions goal, calling the proposal "an ideological experiment".
