US federal government seeks dismissal of youth climate lawsuit over executive orders

The US Department of Justice (DOJ) asked a federal court this week to throw out a lawsuit brought by youth plaintiffs challenging three executive orders (EOs) by President Donald Trump, alleging that they worsen climate change and threaten their constitutional rights.
