Extreme heat sees highest wildfire emissions in Spain since 2003 -EU data

Spain is experiencing its worst year for wildfire emissions in more than two decades, with blazes across the country releasing unprecedented levels of carbon into the atmosphere, according to new data released on Tuesday by the EU’s Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS).
