BRIEFING: Trade-exposed industries ask Washington regulators to delay legislative recommendations

Five separate trade associations and companies representing emissions intensive, trade-exposed (EITE) facilities in Washington asked the state Department of Ecology (ECY) to delay its policy proposal for free allowances under that state’s cap-and-trade programme beyond 2035.
