Allowing Article 6 carbon credits into EU ETS could lower abatement costs by 15%, says global think tank

New modelling has found that EU decarbonisation costs could fall by 15% if businesses were allowed to use international carbon credits to meet part of their obligations under the EU ETS, without the market losing its price signal.
