BRIEFING: CORSIA credit issuance is hampered by NDC delay, lack of insurance approvals, say experts

Delays to submitting new Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), bottlenecks with government approval for carbon trading, and slow progress made by standards bodies on assessing insurance products remain the key obstacles preventing credits being tagged as eligible for CORSIA, experts said on Tuesday.
