World leaders set 160 mln ha Indigenous land tenure goal as donors mobilise $1.8 bln forest pledge

World leaders agreed Thursday to commit to collectively recognising 160 million hectares of land by 2030 in tropical forest countries as belonging to Indigenous Peoples and local communities.
