Euro Markets: EUAs drop back to key support level amid calmer market as traders regroup

European carbon prices slumped on Tuesday but found support near a key level as the market continued to face macroeconomic uncertainty from new US tariffs as well as geopolitical concerns, while an emerging debate around the European Commission's response to widespread calls for a weakening of the EU ETS' ambition also added a note of caution to the atmosphere.
