EU countries suspend fertiliser import tariffs to ease pressure on farmers and cut reliance on Russia

The Council of the EU's member states has agreed to suspend customs duties for one year on key nitrogen-based fertilisers, including ammonia and urea, in a move aimed at easing cost pressures on farmers.
