CAR launches modular crediting framework, opens nitric acid rules for comment

US-based registry Climate Action Reserve (CAR) launched a modular framework on Thursday and opened a core protocol and India-specific rules for crediting nitrous oxide (N2O) reductions from nitric acid plants for public comment, while approving a corresponding US module.
