US bank says EU ETS overhaul proposals more positive for EUAs, decarbonisation investment than expected

The European Commission's long-awaited review of the EU Emissions Trading System should prove incrementally supportive for allowance prices and industrial decarbonisation investment, with several of the most contentious proposals emerging more favourably for the market than widely expected, according to analysts from a large US investment bank.
