States, legal scholars, climate experts, tribes, and affected communities backing the city and county of Boulder have offered the US Supreme Court (SCOTUS) several routes to preserve its climate lawsuit without deciding whether Suncor and ExxonMobil are liable for the local governments’ alleged losses.
