Massachusetts governor signs order requiring data centres to procure clean energy

Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey (D) has signed an executive order (EO) requiring certain data centres to bring their own clean power and ensure environmental protections before development, also directing regulators to develop measures to address GHG emissions from facilities.
