FEATURE: Unilaterally-authorised Article 6.2 credits lack sovereign buyers, as bilateral negotiations continue

So far, countries hosting Article 6 projects under the Paris Agreement have unilaterally authorised about 57 million carbon credits for use toward other countries’ UN-recognised national climate targets, or NDCs, but expected demand from governments for those credits has yet to emerge.
