Calls to suspend EU ETS resurface as Italy’s defence minister backs Eni chief

Italy’s defence minister has echoed a call from energy giant Eni’s CEO to suspend the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS), as the reform of the bloc’s carbon market once again draws political attention.
