BRIEFING: WTO to hear Russian challenge against EU CBAM, ETS

The World Trade Organization (WTO) has agreed to establish a dispute panel examining virtually the entire architecture of the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), after Russia filed a complaint alleging that the measure discriminates against foreign goods, restricts imports, and protects European industry.
