Euro Markets: EUAs, UKAs rise to highest since January amid rising energy, EU-UK summit optimism

European carbon prices rose on Monday to their highest since the end of January as aggressive buying took place while environment ministers were debating proposed reforms to the EU ETS in Brussels, before an afternoon surge in UKA prices to their highest since January cemented the gains, while rising energy markets helped maintain the overall upward momentum.
