Euro Markets: EUAs trickle lower in directionless trade as higher energy, buyers offset selling

EU carbon allowances ended Tuesday down 0.3% after a directionless session, even as buyers seemed prepared to sustain most of yesterday's increase, while gas and power prices continued to climb on the prospect of colder weather with less renewable output.
