UK should announce fossil fuel transition plan at COP31, non-profit says

The UK government should use COP31 to burnish its implementation credentials by announcing its intention to draw up a framework for transitioning away from fossil fuels that includes how to drive down demand and decomission production infrastructure in the North Sea, all while protecting workers from the oil and gas sector, a think tank said.
