Liberia tightens carbon market oversight, restricts fees pending new legislation

Liberia's president has issued a new executive order tightening oversight of the country's carbon market, restricting the imposition of fees and taxes, strengthening community safeguards, and giving regulators six months to prepare comprehensive legislation governing the sector.
