EU earmarks €50 mln for carbon removal and utilisation technologies

The European Commission has earmarked an indicative €50 million for carbon removal and utilisation technologies under the European Innovation Council’s (EIC) 2027 work programme, targeting startups and small businesses seeking to demonstrate innovations at industrial scale and bring them to market.
