Oil-producing Nigerian state grants British firm right to generate millions of voluntary carbon credits

An oil-rich state in Nigeria has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a UK investor, granting it permission to restore thousands of mangroves to generate an estimated 5 million voluntary carbon credits per year.
