Global South developers push for EU 2040 goal to accept durable CDR

The EU’s measures to slash 90% of emissions by 2040 from 1990 levels should include durable carbon removals (CDR) from developing countries, according to a position paper published Friday by the Global South CDR Coalition (GS CDR).
