China taps India’s solar cell boom to keep clean tech exports surging, despite dip in PV panel sales

China has switched to selling solar cells and wafers to continue to drive export growth in 2025 amid the stagnation of solar panel demand globally, and found new markets in India, Indonesia and Turkiye, analysis shows.
