Only permanent removals should count in EU ETS, French lobby group says

A France-based industry group has urged the European Commission to only allow permanent carbon removals (CDR) to count in any future reform of the EU's Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS), in a submission to the bloc’s 2025 consultation on the ETS review.
