Euro Markets: EUAs post three-week high settlement amid sustained buying to approach technical resistance

European carbon rose strongly on Friday, posting the highest settlement price in three weeks as sustained buying around the daily auction was followed by consolidation and another approach to a key resistance level in the afternoon, as August came to an end with the smallest month-on-month move in almost five years.
