Judge temporarily blocks Texas law regulating proxy advisors’ ESG recommendations

A federal judge has temporarily blocked Texas from enforcing a recently passed law that would regulate proxy advisory firms when providing shareholder voting recommendations that prioritise environmental, social, and governance (ESG) policies.
