EU carbon prices slipped lower early on Thursday as traders indicated a degree of 'bullish exhaustion' after the market had climbed €5 over the previous eight sessions, before falling sharply to a technical support level after reports that Germany is seeking to slow the pace at which free allocation is reduced.
