COP30: Amazon restoration initiative seeks $5.6 mln to offset summit’s transport emissions

A carbon project developer on Wednesday launched an initiative that looks to raise R$30 mln ($5.6 mln) to restore 500 hectares in the Amazon, aiming to combine native species and agroforestry systems to offset the transport emissions from the upcoming COP30 summit in Brazil.
