Euro Markets: EUAs post marginal weekly, daily gains even after prices plunge in hectic final hour on US tariff threat

European carbon allowances ended the week up 0.7% from the previous Friday and 0.6% higher on the day, after a session which had earlier promised a first settlement above the key €80 level since February, before statements from President Trump triggered a very late wave of risk-adjustment selling that left EUAs languishing in no-man's land.
