Canada’s “grand bargain” of a new pipeline coupled with CCS would result in more oilsands emissions, think-tank says

A 1-million-barrel-per-day pipeline alongside full development of a major carbon capture and storage project in Alberta would result in the highest absolute oilsands emissions relative to other decarbonisation scenarios, according to modelling completed by a Canadian think-tank Thursday.
