Brazil proposes phased MRV for ETS from 2027

Brazil is proposing a phased sectoral rollout of monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) obligations under its emissions trading system (Portuguese: SBCE), starting with the aluminium, oil production and refining, and cement sectors.
