Global carbon prices far too low to avert climate tipping points, ECB study warns

Researchers at the European Central Bank (ECB) say today’s carbon pricing policies are too weak, fragmented, and static to steer the global economy away from dangerous climate tipping points, and call for a “new climate policy paradigm” to “tilt the odds” away from irreversible climate damage.
