EU ETS expansion to some international flights undermines global aviation climate efforts, says airline body

A representative from IATA, the trade group for the aviation sector, said that applying the EU’s Emissions Trading System (ETS) to international flights would put the sector’s “carbon neutral growth at risk”, during an event Thursday.
