UNIDROIT targets December approval of legal principles for voluntary carbon credits after stakeholder consultation

The International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) is aiming to finalise its proposed legal framework for voluntary carbon credits in December, following a public consultation that generated nearly 500 comments from governments, market participants, and other stakeholders.
