Brussels set to release final CBAM implementing rules, prepares for expansion

The European Commission is set to release final rules to complete the implementation of the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) in the last two months of the year, followed by additional rules for CBAM's extension to downstream products in 2027.
