EU energy ministers call for simplification of post-2030 energy targets, proposals pushed back to Q1 2027

A majority of EU energy ministers stressed the need for technological neutrality in achieving the bloc’s post-2030 energy targets, and many called for a simplification of the framework, which the EU energy commissioner signalled would come in early 2027.
