Euro Markets: EUAs post 5% monthly gain after market sets new 9-month high

EU carbon prices ended the month of October up by 4.8% and settled above the level at which the market ended 2025 (€87.37) for the first time since January, as the benchmark contract topped €90.00 for the first time in nine months, with prices being dragged higher by the inexorable rise in energy markets.
