Off-grid solar cheapest electricity for around 400 mln people without power, finds report

Bringing off-grid solar (OGS) to around almost 400 million people in the world who still live without electricity will cost around $11.4 billion between 2027-30, a fraction of the global investment in the energy transition, according to a report.
